Security firm celebrates roaring trade

3 Lions Security based in Kettering is continuing to grow after signing a series of new clients and adding a third vehicle to its fleet.

3 Lions Security started business in February 2016 and its office is based in the Newlands Shopping Centre, Kettering. It now employs a team of twenty people and looks after security for more than one hundred sites across Northamptonshire, with clients including Kettering Town Football Club, Newlands Shopping Centre, Kelmarsh Hall, Age UK Northamptonshire and Richard Sanders Group.

Erik founded the company after working for more than twelve years in the security industry. His vision was to provide bespoke security services on a personal and individual level rather than clients just becoming a number. He aims to build a personal relationship with clients to understand their needs and then works out a solution to keep their sites safe and secure.

Erik said:

“When I started 3 Lions Security I knew I wanted to provide the highest level of service together with a pro-active and fast response. Initially we offered key holding and alarm response, mobile patrols, manned guarding and lock-up and un-lock services to businesses. We now look after a wide range of sites from schools, restaurants and shops through to small and large commercial premises, provide presence at events, private houses and vacant properties.”

Quality of service has always been a core value for 3 Lions Security since its inception and the company is always looking for more ways to deliver the best experience possible for its customers. Aside from the many testimonials and social media reviews it receives from clients, 3 Lions Security has also been recognised by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) which assesses the company on an annual basis looking at the organisations staff, management systems, licences and customer satisfaction levels.

When I started 3 Lions Security, I knew my reputation with local businesses was not enough, explains Erik. I needed to be SIA accredited, be able to build trust, create new relationships and above all put clients needs first. We underwent an assessment in 2016 and met the stringent requirements of the SIAs Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) with a rating of around 20. In the assessment carried out this year, we received a rating of 75 which shows how much the company has improved and how much it is continuing to build and which puts us amongst the best providers of private security services in the UK.

We pride ourselves on being friendly, approachable and flexible whilst remaining knowledgeable and professional. Being an ACS accredited supplier shows that we are committed to customer service and satisfaction as well as employing and looking after all our licensed staff. Customers can be assured that every operative deployed on their premises is working within the law and that they will receive a service that meets their needs.

Over the last twelve months, 3 Lions Security has also procured involvement in several community activities and campaigns, from working with Northamptonshire Police with retail crime to sponsoring sports activities at Kettering Buccleuch Academy.

Looking back over the last 30 months and realising how much 3 Lions Security has achieved and grown is amazing, said Erik.

We have also established some wonderful, rewarding relationships in the process and it wont stop there. We are keen to grow further and work with more Northamptonshire based businesses over the coming months and years to keep their sites and our local communities safe.
