Safe Contractor

Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website. Safecontractor is a third party accreditation scheme that assesses health and safety arrangements. Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency.

3 Lions Security Ltd currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding, Keyholding and Public Space Surveillance (CCTV). The aim of the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme is to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities. The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires the SIA to establish a system of inspection for providers of security services, under which those organisations who satisfactorily meet the agreed standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as such.
